Liquor Stores

Of the three counties our tour runs through - Baxter, Izard, and Stone - only Baxter is wet. There are four liquor stores in Baxter on our tour. Two at the northern end, and two at the southern end. There are also several liquor stores on Highway 62/412 in Mountain Home. There are no liquor stores anywhere in between.

Northern End Of Tour

Point 1 - Lake Norfork Liquor is just up Hwy 5 a few hundred feet from the Y Store at Point 1. They are open seven days a week from 8am to 10pm except Sundays when they open from 10am to 10pm. They have a wide selection of beer, wine, and liquor, including legal Arkansas Moon Shine.

Point 4 - Woodsman's Package Store - The rock front store that was for so many years Woodsman's Store is now Woodsman's new liquor store. In September of 2011 Woodsman's moved the store next door into what used to be their rental cabins. Woodsman's Package Store is open Monday thru Thursday 8am to 9pm, open Friday and Saturday 8am to 10pm, Sundays 10am to 9pm. 59 Fisherman Street, Norfork Arkansas. Call 870-499-7454

Southern End Of Tour

Point 27 - Blanchard Liquor on Hwy 14 just past Point 27 is open 8am to 10pm Monday-Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8am to 12midnight.

8 Miles on Hwy 14 From Blanchard Liquor is Junction Liquor - 870- 448-5139  where Hwy 14 and Hwy 263 meet. Open 8am to 10pm six days a week, closed Sundays.
