onto CR-70, aka Jordan Landing Road. Jordan Park is about 8 miles down this two lane paved
road.

Shaded lakeside picnic tables, fishing, swimming at Jordan Park
Jordan Park, simply
put, is beautiful. It's well maintained, and a fine example of your Federal tax dollars at
work. All paved. Day use
fees apply, usually under $5. This clean park offers public swimming, bank fishing, lakeside picnic tables, a boat
launch with courtesy dock, paved parking, and public bathrooms. It is also a beautiful RV
and tent camping site. The camping sites have no hookups but there is water, toilets, and
a dump station in the park. Picnic tables get you close to the water. Several bank fishing
spots allow you to try your luck. If you don't have a license you can buy one at the
on-site marina. Sand Island is about 200 yards across the water from Jordan Park. Both
Sand Island, and parts of the shoreline at Jordan Park, offer the only true sand beaches
on Norfork Lake. The large full service marina, Jordan Marina, offers a line-up of rental
boats for lake action, a store, fishing guide services, and other marina services. Unique
to this marina is an impressive scuba operation, complete with a map of 32 underwater
attractions. Jordan Marina - 3291
Jordan Landing Rd, Jordan, Arkansas, 870-499-7348.

Camping / RV spots
Making Reservations - Jordan Park, though a
Corps of Engineer (C)E) facility, is a first-come-first served Park. In this area COE
parks are officially open from April 1st to September 15th. You can camp in the parks the
rest of the year, but services are not turned on, and staff is not on site.
If you have specific questions you'll need to call the local
U.S. Army Crops of Engineers Project Office in Mountain Home, Arkansas. It is always a
good idea to call the Mountain Home Corps Office at 870-425-2700 before you leave home.
Sometimes the parks are closed, or partly closed, due to high water, or for maintenance.
Mountain Home COE Office: 870-425-2700 8am to 4:30pm
Monday-Friday.
Getting Back To The Main Tour Loop -
Head back up CR 70 for 8 miles until you get to the intersection with Hwy 177 at Jordan
Grocery. If you turn left (east) and go I mile you'll come to Roscoe's Restaurant. If you
go straight (south) you'll be on CR 64 (paved) which in 5.5 miles brings you to Point 6
where you connect back up with the main tour loop. At Point 6 turn left
(east) to continue the tour, or turn right (west) and you'll come back to Norfork at Point 4 in
4 miles.
Roscoe's Restaurant is a mile down Hwy 177
from Jordan Grocery. Roscoe's has some interesting entrees. You never know for sure
what will be on the menu, but most of it is pretty darn good!
