Point 7
Details
1.2 miles between 6 & 7
Paved all the way. Turn right (south) onto
Dwelle Road, aka CR-68

To go to Red's Landing or PJ's Restaurant, turn here.
Trout Fish & Dine - This
paved road leads down to the White River, PJ's restaurant, Tall Pine Resort, and Riverside
Retreat. You'll cross railroad tracks about 2.4 miles down the road, the landing is 2.6
miles. Just before the tracks is Tall Pine
Resort. Right near the tracks turn to the left if you are looking for
Riverside Retreat. Drive across the tracks to get to Red's Landing Access, or PJ's
Restaurant. At the public access you can bank fish for trout, or launch a river boat. The
parking lot is small and we don't recommend it for RVs. You can get a motorcycle down this
road with no problem. There are no picnic tables or bathrooms at Red's. About 0.3 miles
before the river is a straight gravel road running off to your right (west). Turn here, go
one third of a mile to PJ's riverfront restaurant. PJ's serves some of the best food in
the entire area, and it's hard to beat the quiet upscale atmosphere. PJ's also has an
impressive wine and beer list. They're open for dinner only, Wednesday through Saturday,
4pm to 9pm. Reservations recommended, call 870-499-7500.
Located at 384 Lodge Lane, Norfork, Arkansas.

Dwelle Road is a scenic look at the rural Ozarks
County Line - You'll cross
the bridge at Moccasin Creek on Hwy 5, which is the County Line between Baxter and Izard
counties. Izard County is a dry county, Baxter is not. Keep track of the county you are in
as it helps in looking for, and following the county roads because road numbers change
through each county.
