Some 24 different pioneer skills from the 1820-1920 era are
demonstrated live in the Ozark Folk Center Crafts Village. Crafters let
you try out some of the old-time tools. Here our visitor puts decorative
rings in chair rungs on this old foot-operated wood lathe.

The General Store, the Homespun Gift Shop, as well as several of the
crafters in the Craft Village all sell hundreds of unique handmade items.

The Skillet Restaurant says in theme with the entire Park by offering
southern recipes. The 100-seat main dining room is open to the public.
60-seat and 25-seat private dining rooms are available for group
meetings. Floor-to ceiling windows allow you to look out into the Ozark
Forest. Bird feeders attract a wide range of birds and wildlife you can
watch as you dine.

Mountain View, Arkansas is America's Bluegrass Capital, and the 1,000
seat Ozark Folk Center Theater is the center of it all. Mountain style jig
dances, square dancing, instrumentals, ballads, gospel, and a wide
range of additional Ozark traditions can be seen here. Feature programs
include the best Bluegrass, Gospel, and traditional Ozark Folk music.
