Understory Photo 9 - Cypress Sapling
Cypress are somewhat rare in the Ozarks but they do appear in some of the lakes. This colorful youngster is on the shore of Norfork Lake in Baxter County, Arkansas. We found it while hiking along the Pigeon Creek National Trail System.
