Another drive worth taking is through the Ozark National Forest via Scenic Byway 5 (aka Hwy 5). Drive south down Hwy 5 from Mountain Home, Arkansas to the town of Mountain View for some shopping. Then head back down Hwy 5 to the White River, take Hwy 14 to Hwy 341, and go north on 341 to Hwy 201 and take 201 north back to Mountain Home.
