Leaf Photo 2 -  Dogwood leaves and berries
Dogwoods are usually found in large numbers in the understory as they are low growing trees. However they can be found growing almost anywhere as a single tree. In the spring they have large white blossoms that by fall turn into these red berries. Once dogwood leaves turn they appear to be wet, or wax coated.
